Acceler8 Coming to LA

We have been working hard behind the scenes to prepare to launch our exciting new program Acceler8 in the LA area. Our plans were postponed much like many of us due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Behind the scenes, we have been putting together an incredible team and building partnerships that will help us with our mission of getting Opportunity Youth into the Automotive Industry.

Accelerate Education Group is geared towards helping young men and women who are identified as opportunity youth (disconnected youth), ages 15 to 24 years old, by introducing them to the automotive industry through curriculum, mentorship and experiences. There’s an estimated 170,000 youth that are considered (opportunity youth) in Los Angeles County alone. We feel the Accelerate Education Group will help minimize the number of (opportunity youth) throughout the years, by developing a program that will attract the youth through automotive activity, by teaching them basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance, introducing them to influential speakers that can relate to their demographic, as well as field trips, that will help inspire and motivate the students to achieve their future goals. The variety of classes that will be held in this program will consist of, basic automotive maintenance, fabrication, welding, graphic arts and design, marketing, and business ownership.
